MCAA's 2013 Green Building Webinars

MCAA is continuing its green building webinar series to help your company compete successfully in the green and sustainable building marketplace. Already a webinar has been scheduled for April 16, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Courtney France, LEED AP BD+C and Principal of France Sustainable Solutions, will provide an updated on LEED Version 4. ASHRAE Building Energy Quotient

On June 14, 2012 Tim Wentz taught a webinar on The ASHRAE Building Energy Quotient. ASHRAE's new program informs owners and operators, tenants and prospective buyers on the energy use of buildings, similar to a nutrition label on food or a miles per gallon rating for cars. The Building Energy Quotient Program, known as bEQ, includes an operational rating for commercial buildings and provides users a simplified way to measure and compare building efficiencies.

MCAA Launched Green-Talk for Contractors

MCAA maintains Green-Talk, a social networking site devoted to green building issues for mechanical contractors. This is a place where contractors can communicate directly, share experiences, learn about the latest technologies and find out more about MCAA resources.

Green Building 2012 Year-end Update

Green building in the U.S. continues to evolve, with a few twists and turns along the way.
